Parent account & data notice

Updated October 17, 2026. This notice describes the family pilot’s account features.

Adults create the accounts

A parent or legal guardian creates an account with their email and password. Children do not create an independent login. Your parent account manages child profiles. A parent PIN unlocks profile switching and progress reports; starting a child session locks the parent area again. A PIN is an accidental-access guard, not a replacement for keeping your account password private. Keep your password private and log out on shared devices.

What is stored

Supabase handles parent authentication, email confirmation, passwords, and account-recovery messages. Enrichment Universe stores the parent’s account identifier and acknowledgement of this notice, a salted hash of your parent PIN, temporary parent and child access grants, and child nicknames, learning levels, school/home preferences, practice totals, rewards, assignments, and custom questions. Do not enter a child’s full name, birth date, school name, or sensitive information.

Why it is used

Account records connect child profiles to their parent. Profile and progress records let learners return to their activities on another device. Necessary session cookies keep the parent signed in. The app also keeps a browser copy of learner progress so it can retry an interrupted save. Coloring drawings are not uploaded; download artwork you wish to keep. Progress reports are cumulative and do not represent diagnostic or mastery scores.

Access and deletion

Signed-in parents can access and delete their own child profiles from the family dashboard. Deleting a profile removes its hosted progress and prevents future saves to that profile. A browser copy or downloaded backup may still exist; clear site data on shared devices and delete downloaded files separately.

Service providers and limitations

Hosting and authentication providers process the connection and account information needed to operate the service. This pilot does not provide public child profiles, chat, ads, or payments. It is not a complete curriculum or an assessment service. A parent’s acknowledgement here is not a claim of independently verified identity or consent.

Questions

During the small family pilot, contact the organizer through the contact method used to invite you. Do not include children’s personal information in feedback.
